Historical space and the use of tools in the elaboration of the independent work in the self-management of the historical knowledge

Abstract
History is not conceived outside of time and space, therefore, the use of cartography as a didactic resource for teaching and learning history is considered a valuable source of historical knowledge. Teaching students to construct their own historical maps from the processing of historical information with the use of computer tools is the didactic alternative proposed for the development of the teaching-learning process of history.The didactic organization is the result of the planning, reflection and systematization of the pedagogical practice that is followed in the process of directing the learning of history in the University of Informatics Sciences. It is a question of providing didactic resources from the use of computer tools to carry out learning and to develop the cognitive abilities in the students under the direction of the teacher.
